What is Forskolin?
Forskolin is a plant extract of the Coleus forskohlii combined with N-acetyl-L-tyrosine. The plant is also known as Blue Spur Flower and is harvested for its chemical compound diterpene.
Coleus forskohlii is used in Ayurvedic medicine, and is a part of the Mint family of plants. It can be found in warm tropical areas such as India, Burma, and Thailand.
The trademark patented name of the active ingredient is called ForsLean®.
