Research by Professor Vladimir Khavinson has shown the following potential benefits:
- May help to promote healthy parathyroid function.
- Serves the same role as peptide bioregulators developed naturally in the body
- No adverse side effects
The Importance of the Parathyroid
Parathyroid glands control the amount of calcium in our blood and bones. Calcium is an important element in our bodies and we use it to control many systems. Therefore calcium is regulated very carefully. Parathyroid glands are normally the size of a grain of rice. They measure the amount of calcium in the blood every minute of every day. If the calcium levels go down a little bit, the parathyroid glands recognize it and produces parathyroid hormone (PTH) which goes to the bones and takes some calcium out (makes a withdrawal from the calcium vault) to raise blood levels.
What are peptide bioregulators?
Peptide bioregulators are short chains of amino acids that are rapidly absorbed in the digestive system and have been shown to shortcut protein synthesis by interacting directly with cell DNA to potentially stimulate repair and regeneration of organ tissues. Peptide bioregulators have been studied for their potential role in extending life span.
Professor Vladimir Khavinson
Peptide bioregulators were first discovered in the 1980's by Professor Vladimir Khavinson, a Russian doctor working on behalf of the Kremlin to devise palliative care medicines for army veterans.
Peptide bioregulators are considered safe with no adverse side effects.
